Day 1

Welcome to Italy! Your airport transfer with assistant, will be waiting for you outside baggage claim area at Rome’s airport to take you to your hotel. Check into hotel and free time for relax. The first day in Europe is what we call th “jetlag day” where all you are to do is unpack and relax. Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 2

Continental breakfast at the hotel. Full day visit in Rome, with the guide. You will visit the archaeological side of the capital, a walking tour through the most important ancient roman monuments, from Colosseum to “Pacis Area”. Rome, the “eternal city”, where both ancient and modern blend in this cosmopolitan and vibrant capital. Lunch is on your own; perhaps sit at an outdoor café for a typical italian mid-day meal. The trip will continue to the Roman Forum, a rectangular forum surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings at the center of the city. At the end of the visit, return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 3

Continental breakfast at the hotel. Starting of a full day visit with a guide. You are going to visit the Catholic side of the capital, a walking tour through the most important churches and Catholic places, above all the Saint Pietro Basilica, the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Vatican City is a real city in the city: it is considered almost as the eighth wonder of the world. The Papal Basilica of Saint Peter, commonly known as Saint Peter's Basilica, is a Late Renaissance church located within the Vatican City. Saint Peter's Basilica has the largest interior of any Catholic church in the world. The interior is of vast dimensions by comparison with other churches and it is lavishly decorated with marble, reliefs, architectural sculpture and gilding.  Lunch is on your own. The visit will continue with the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, the best-known chapel in the Apostolic Palace, the official residence of the Pope. It is famous for its architecture and its decoration that was frescoed throughout by Renaissance artists including Michelangelo, Sandro Botticelli, Pietro Perugino, Pinturicchio and others. At the end of the visit, return back to the hotel. Dinner included. Overnight.

 

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel. We planned to dedicate this day to the shopping, a walking tour from Piazza di Spagna to Trevi’s Fountain with a guide, who is going to take you to the most famous shops of the city. Rome is a great place for shopping, with designer outlets and department stores all over the city. Via dei Condotti is one of the richest streets in Italy and one of the best streets for shopping in Rome. It is home to Italy's top designer stores such as Armani, Prada, Versace, Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci and other notable names. Lunch is on your own. At the end of the day return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 5

After the breakfast a private car is going to drive you to Florence, the second most beautiful city of Italy. It is located in Tuscany, a region famous for its delicious wine and food and for its welcoming inhabitants. After two hours and half you will arrive in the city and, after lunch and meeting the guide, you are going to start a very interesting visit, which will lasts all the afternoon: the Uffizi Gallery. This is one of the oldest and most famous art museums of the Western world. The Uffizi exhibit a large number of famous paintings, such as the Leonardo Da Vinci’s Annunciation, the Sandro Botticelli’s Primavera and the Caravaggio’s Medusa. Dinner and overnight in your hotel in Florence.

 

Day 6

After the breakfast meeting with the guide, who will takes you to the Chianti, the most famous wine area in Tuscany. Chianti is the name of a typical red Italian wine,  which has a long history. During the day you will have the possibility to admire the wonderful landscape of the Chianti hills and you are going to visit an historical farm in order to taste the famous wine.  Lunch in a typical restaurant. Return to Florence. Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 7

Breakfast at the hotel. A Chinese speaking guide is going to takes you to the historical Center of Florence, in order to visit the most famous monuments and churches. A centre of medieval European trade and finance and one of the wealthiest cities of the time, Florence is considered the birthplace of the Renaissance. The historical centre of Florence attracts millions of tourists each year and it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982. Lunch is on your own. Florence is also an important city in Italian fashion being ranked within the top fifty fashion capitals of the world; furthermore, it is also a major national economical centre. This is the reason why the afternoon will be dedicated to the shopping, above all along the famous jewelry shops on Ponte Vecchio. At the end of the day return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 8

After the breakfast. private transfer to the Railway Station and departure to Venice.  Private water taxi with chinise/english speaking guide for you for the transfer to the hotel. After the accommodation guide will take you to the Atelier of masks and costume of the famous Carnival of Venice. The Carnival of Venice is an annual festival, held in the city. Venetian masks can be made in leather or with the original glass technique. The original masks were rather simple in design, decoration, often had a symbolic, and practical function. At the end of the day return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 9

After the breakfast there will be a full day visit of  Venice, in particular Saint Mark’s Square and the Doge’s Palace with its secrets itineraries. Venice is a city in northeast Italy sited on a group of 118 small islands separated by canals and linked by bridges. The city in its entirety is listed as World Heritage Site, along with its lagoon. After lunch the guide will organize a Gondola tour of about 40 minutes, after which you will visit the “Squero”, a place where gondolas are built. Before dinner you will have free time for shopping. Many of the fashion boutiques and jewelry shops in the city are located in the Rialto Bridge and the Piazza San Marco. At the end of the day return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 10

Breakfast at the hotel. The day will be dedicated to the famous Island Tour Murano, Burano and Torcello, with a stop for visiting a “Fornace”, a place where the Master creates glass. Murano is a series of islands linked by bridges and it is famous for its glass making, particularly lampworking. Some of the companies that own historical glass factories in Murano are among the most important brands of glass in the world. Burano is another island in the Venetian Lagoon; like Venice itself, it could more correctly be called an archipelago of four islands linked by bridges. It is situated near Torcello at the northern end of the Lagoon, and it is known for its lacework and brightly coloured homes. The colours of the houses follow a specific system originating from the golden age of its development. Before dinner return to the hotel.

 

Day 11

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Verona with a private transfer and a guide. You will have a walking tour in the city, one of the main tourist destinations in northern Italy, owing to its artistic heritage, several annual fairs, shows, and operas, such as the lyrical season in the Arena, the ancient amphitheatre built by the Romans. Because of the value and importance of its many historical buildings, Verona has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Verona is famous for its Roman amphitheatre, the Arena found in the city's largest piazza, the Piazza Bra. Completed around 30 AD, it is the third largest in Italy after Rome's Colosseum and the arena at Capua. You will have a look also to Juliet’s Balcony: according to the legend that is the place where Juliet felt in love with Romeo, as in the famous Shakespeare’s poem. At the end of the day return to the hotel in Venice with a private transfer.

 

Day 12

After the breakfast at the hotel, a water taxi will drive you to the airport. Our assistant will accompany you and assists during the check in operations.
